Welcome to Mull Car Club website
Mull Car Club is one of Scotland’s most active clubs and punches well above its weight!
The club organises three events each year :-
The Hi-Serve Mull Classic/Targa Rally, a round of the Saltire Targa Rally championship uses selectives around the Isle of Mull and although it is a competitive event the focus is also on everyone having a fun time
Accommodation packages will be available for next year’s event which runs on the 11th March 2023, we look forward to welcoming you to the Island for the weekend
Later in the year the club organises the Dunoon Presents Argyll Rally, this event takes place over the closed roads of the Cowal Peninsula with a base in the picturesque town of Dunoon
This is a round of the Protyre Motorsport UK Asphalt Rally Championship and the Scottish Rally Championship (tbc) and features a town centre stage on the Friday night and a 14 mile stage in the dark
The last two years have attracted a full entry and we fully expect the maximum 140 crews to line up again to tackle the 70 plus stage miles, the rally will run on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th June 2023
Last, but certainly not least, is the Beatsons Building Supplies Mull Rally, celebrating its 50th running this year, a bumper entry lit the skies over Mull over the Friday and Saturday nights with a fantastic display of competitive driving at its best ensuring a fantastic atmosphere on the Island
Mull Car Club will once again be the permit holders and organising club when the event fires up over the weekend of the 12th to 15th October 2023, this is an event not to be missed whether you are a competitor or marshal
Outside of organising events club members and friends attend rallies all over the UK and beyond, supplying all roles from Clerk of the Course, Safety roles, Stage Commanders, marshals and radio operators to other clubs to help with the safe running of events
If you would like to be a part of this then join the club today using the form on the membership page, you will be made most welcome irrespective of experience as full training will be given, as a Motorsport UK affiliated club we can help you progress through the Marshal grading scheme if you so wish although there will be no pressure to do any more than you are comfortable with
Membership costs £10 at present and runs from January to end of December each year but if you join now it will cover you till end of 2023, cadet Marshals (under 16) can join for free
